Semiosis

I am a big fan of Semiosis and the world you have created. I love the idea of humans living on a new planet, the inter generational story, and the sentient plant. I have read both Semiosis and Interference a couple of times, and even listened to the audio recording of Semiosis. I even picked the book for my book club to read.
I did notice one minor discrepancy that I wanted to point out. The chapter titles say that Sylvia is generation 2 and Tatiana is generation 4. But in Tatiana’s chapter it refers to Sylvia as Tatiana’s great grandmother. That would put them 3 generations apart instead of 2. Seems like the cleanest solution is just to change the text to say that Sylvia is Tatiana’s grandmother instead of great grandmother.

Good catch. Maybe what I meant is Sylvia was a magnificent grandmother, Sylvia the Great! Seriously, I’ll see about getting that fixed.
By the way, the third book in the trilogy, called “Usurpation,” will be published in May of 2024.
