Is this post anything to do with the US’s recent choice? I am from the UK and from here the vast majority of people see a fool has been chosen.

Hello Andrew,
I drafted that post before the election, and it seemed like eternal wisdom, but I can see how it’s very timely, too. Not a wise choice, to say the least.
By the way, the photo is from a hike I took this August in Glen Nevis, Scotland. My husband and I had a chance to do some tourism before the World Science Fiction Convention in Glasgow. The hike was stunning!
